Our Mission:

Supporting Our Community.

To worship God in word and sacrament,

To take care of one another,

To witness our faith in the community, and

to serve those in need.

Our Supported Missions

We believe in following the example of Jesus by helping others.  Our missions are a big part of what we do, whether at a local, state or global level.

Here are examples of mission we support:

  • Joseph's Coats:  A free store serving the Twin Cities communities;
  • Loaves and Fishes:  Served on the fourth Monday of each month at St. Matthews Catholic Church in West St. Paul;
  • Lutheran Social Services - Rezek House:  Transitional Housing for Homeless Youth;
  • Lyngblomsten House:  A continuing care retirement community in St. Paul, MN;
  • Operation Christmas Child:   Brings the power of a simple gift to children all over the world;
  • The Salvation Army:  Serving people in need for more than 125 years;
  • The Souper-bowl of Caring:  The fight against hunger;
  • West 7th Boys Club:  Helping families in the West Seventh Neighborhood; and
  • Women's Advocates:  Keeping families safe since 1974.

Our Ministry Partners

  At Saint Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, we don't pretend to serve our community alone. We have partners and volunteers that whole-heartedly support (both financially and with other resources). If you are curious about these ministry partners, please contact us at Secretary@SaintMark.info
